Description:
Windham. This year marks Riding To The Top Therapeutic Riding Center’s 25th year of service to the community. On May 20th RTT invites the public from 12:30- 4pm to an open house and celebration at their farm at 14 Lilac Drive, Windham, Maine (only 10 minutes from Portland off route 302). RTT has planned a full afternoon of tours, demonstrations and fun games. The event is family friendly and free but RTT asks you to RSVP by calling 892-2813 x 10 or at rtt25thcelebration.eventbrite.com so they can plan for light refreshments and parking. Executive Director Sarah Bronson is especially eager to have the many hundreds or riders, volunteers and supporters who have been part of RTT over the 25 years join in the celebration. Bronson notes, “We were founded by a group of passionate volunteers and generous donors and we continue to thrive because of our community supporters!” Since its beginning in 1993, RTT has provided equine assisted activities and therapies to thousands of children and adults from southern Maine and beyond, enhancing the health and well-being of people with a wide range of physical, social, emotional, and mental challenges.
