  Annual Togus Veterans' Picnic & Car/Bike Show
Cruise-In from the Augusta Civic Center. 15-year old+ event to honor veterans and give them a chance to leave their rooms to visit with friends and car owners. Staging for the cars and MOTORCYCLES will be at the Augusta Civic Center beginning at 9am. The Grand Cruise-In will leave promptly at 9:30am for Togus. All groups and individuals are encouraged to "adopt a vet" by escorting those patients who need assistance. Contact Jim Doherty to volunteer at 207-623-5714. The Red Knights of Maine Chapter 4 will be conducting a ride to benefit the Saint Philips Church, Set for Success program. Registration starts at 9 am at the Fire Station 51 Old Bath Rd, Wiscasset. Kickstands up at 10 am. Ride will go thru our great scenic Maine landscape and come back to the starting point to enjoy some of the strawberry fixin's. We are asking for donations to participate in this ride. The Set for Success program fills backpacks with school supplies and gives them to the kids in the area so they will have every chance at a successful school year.
